Unless your business can service the entire world (or united states at the least) as well as the local provider can, localized organic SEO is most likely the preferred method for you over standard organic SEO.

With localized organic SEO, you apply the general keywords associated with your product/service, and add localization factors such as city, state, and region. An example of this would be "Baltimore meeting facilities" instead of "meeting facilities".
