Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of getting
your website to rank in the top results on search engines for
keywords that relate to your product/service. The "organic" search
results are ones that Google, Yahoo, and MSN's algorhythm determine

gives a guarantee - results are out of their hands.
- Getting ranked in the wrong search engines - being ranked
#1 on Billy Bob's search engine doesnt mean you'll get people
to your site. It may, however, cover enough of your contract
for the SEO company to say they've fulfilled their duty.
- Getting ranked for the wrong keywords - ranking for words
that people do not search for is like placing a billboard in
the middle of the desert. If no one is there actively looking
for the keywords you have ranked for, you will not get visitors
to your site. Once again, this can fulfill the agreement for
your SEO company.
- Mixing organic search visitors with your other forms of marketing.
Unless you seperate this traffic from your other sources, you
will not know if the visitors are converting to actions and
becoming profitable.
