The Overview
Pay Per RFP is a remarkable concept perfected by 'Net Profits,
Inc. A handful of companies have tried to set a flat rate cost
to RFP's, but none have answered all of the problems associated
with this concept. That is, none until 'Net Profits, Inc.
With the Pay Per RFP system, the event planner submits their
RFP through our online system. Each RFP is reviewed with the planner
for exact details and to confirm their request is legitimate and
needed. The entire RFP details (except for contact information)
are sent to all potential advertisers who meet the needs of the
planners RFP. The advertiser then has the ability to accept or
decline the RFP, based on their own availability and revpar considerations.
Once the advertiser accepts the RFP, the complete details
(including contact information) are sent to the advertiser, and
the advertisers details are sent to the planner. A flat rate is
paid for the RFP by the advertiser.
factors affecting success
- closing % of RFP's into quotes and sales
- ROI of purchased RFP's
Pro's
- 100% performance based - if the marketing company does not
generate RFP's through direct planners, they are not compensated.
- No commissions - just flat rates for each RFP accepted by
the advertiser
- Direct dealings with the planner from step one - you are put
in direct contact with the planner to discuss their event needs
freely
- Caps on amount of advertisers accepting RFP - rather than
bidding against 20-30 properties on the same RFP, the number
of advertiser allowed to bid on the RFP are capped. This gives
you a much higher quality lead, a much higher chance to close
the business, and the ability to sell at a profitable margin
without concerns of being drastically underbid.
- Trackable results - through our communication with the planner,
you'll be able to know which RFP's have been closed for business,
by whom, why they chose your company for the business, and why
they chose your competition. No more wasted time on business
that's not there!
Con's
- If your sales force is unable to close business, you'll be
investing into a system that does not produce revenue for the
company.
- Planners expect fast response times. If your sales force does
not respond in a timely manner, you'll pay for RFP's that other
companies end up winning the business on.
